Rock Steady Boxing – Fight Back Against Parkinson’s with Proven Fitness Classes in Akron
Rock Steady Boxing is a globally proven method of exercise giving those living with Parkinson’s disease a better quality of life. Published medical research has shown that forced intense exercise can reduce, reverse and delay Parkinson’s symptoms. Non-contact boxing brings all those elements together to get you feeling great at the end of class.
Our Rock Steady Boxing program is tailored to meet the needs of our participants regardless of gender or fitness level. We understand that Parkinson’s affects everyone differently, which is why our expert trainers adapt the exercises to suit each individual’s abilities.
This Parkinson's exercise program incorporates a variety of exercises that focus on:
- Agility
- Balance
- Coordination
- Strength
- Cognitive function
- Voice projection and reaction time

Our classes are designed for:
- Adults diagnosed with Parkinson's disease (all stages)
You do not need prior boxing or fitness experience. Every participant is welcomed at their own level.

Class schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Fridays 1:30pm
Cost: Monthly memberships 3 classes/per week $120
