She is passionate about helping individuals with neurological conditions increase independence and continue to participate in activities they love. Theresa Niewiadomski, LSW has 30 plus years of experience as a Licensed Social Worker. She has worked for the local Area Agency on Aging for 18 years and is currently their Family Caregiver Support Specialist. Theresa has successfully facilitated several family caregiver support groups since 2020.

She has helped 100s of caregivers one on one over the phone or by email and has connected with numerous community resources such as The Alzheimer’s Association, Parkinson’s Association, Probate Court, Vantage Aging, and The Oak Clinic for Multiple Sclerosis.
She is also a former Master Trainer in Powerful Tools for Caregivers, Certified Caregiving Consultant via Caringyears.com, Certified in Dementia C.A.R.E.S. under Health Care Initiative, and is currently in the process of obtaining certificate in Caregiving Group Facilitation.
Theresa has turned her passion for supporting family caregivers into her personal business with Creative Caregiver Support, LLC. This business will allow for freedom of connection with other local small businesses in wellness to support the physical, mental and emotional concerns of caregivers.
